On the 25th of October 1415 an army consisting of English and Welsh soldiers fought the French in Northern France at the Battle of Agincourt as part of the 100 Years War. Henry V of England won a decisive victory against the Constable of France, Charles d'Albret against massive odds. The French numbers are estimated between 30,000 to 100,000 troops, British forces were estimated to be around 5,000. The Battle was made famous by William Shakespeare in Henry V. |

On the 25th of October 1854 in the Crimean War occurred a Military blunder that saw many Cavalry men and their mounts lose their lives. A charge into ‘Valley of Death’ lead by the Earl of Cardigan to prevent the removal of Naval Guns, this was miss-communicated and resulted in a mile long gauntlet to a fort packed with Russian Guns. This Charge took place during the Battle of Balaclava and is known as the Charge of the Light Brigade; the action was a failure but did serve to enhance the reputation of the British Cavalry. |

Accomodation will be available for booking if you want a room, Camping is an option if you have a tent or sleep at your PC, you decide. There will be access to showers so expect the LAN to be smelling sweet Sunday morning*. |
